Joe Walsh
Guitarist with the James Gang and, from 1975, the Eagles, and a celebrated solo artist. Walsh wrote and played the main riff of 'Life in the Fast Lane' on Hotel California (1976), and his cranked-tweed-and-Les-Paul tone — plus a co-design credit on Music Man amps — made him one of the defining American rock-guitar voices of the era. His playing balances slide, talk-box theatrics, and a deceptively loose, swinging right hand.
