Queen's guitarist and astrophysicist who built his own guitar, the Red Special, from a fireplace mantel. His unique tone comes from running that homemade guitar through a Vox AC30 with a Dallas Rangemaster treble booster, creating a rich, harmonically complex sound. Known for multi-tracked guitar orchestrations.
