Drowning Pool's founding guitarist, Pierce drove the Dallas band's 2001 debut Sinner with a high-gain Mesa/Boogie Rectifier sound in Drop C. 'Bodies' became one of the defining nu-metal singles of its era — a relentless, wah-inflected mid-tempo grind. Pierce's signature B.C. Rich and Dean guitars came later in his career; the Sinner-era guitar is not pinned to a single documented model.
