Dave Murray's tone is the New Wave of British Heavy Metal in a nutshell: his black 1957/63 Stratocaster loaded with a DiMarzio Super Distortion, an MXR Distortion+ shoving the front end, into a cranked 50-watt Marshall Super Lead and a Greenback 4x12.
