Line 6 has released firmware 1.10 for the Helix Stadium, and it is a substantial one. The update brings eight new amp models built on the Agoura modeling engine, significant improvements to the Proxy cloning system, and a redesigned cab block that simplifies dual-cab routing.

New Amp Models

The headline additions are models based on some highly requested amps that were missing from the Stadium's launch lineup:

  • Agoura Plexi Bright -- A Marshall 1959SLP on the bright channel, with the characteristic sizzle and sag that made it a classic rock staple
  • Agoura Rectifier Modern -- A Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier on the modern voicing, covering the tight high-gain territory that metal players have been asking for
  • Agoura AC15 -- A Vox AC15 with top boost, joining the existing AC30 model
  • Agoura Princeton -- A Fender Princeton Reverb, one of the most recorded studio amps in history
  • Agoura SLO Lead -- A Soldano SLO-100 lead channel, delivering that saturated-yet-clear high-gain character
  • Agoura Archon Lead -- Based on the PRS Archon, bridging the gap between classic and modern high-gain
  • Agoura JTM45 -- The amp that started it all for Marshall, with its bluesy breakup and Fender-influenced clean tones
  • Agoura Mark IIC+ -- The legendary Mesa/Boogie Mark IIC+ lead channel, the holy grail of thrash tones

Every model was built from the ground up using Agoura's component-level analysis, and early reports from beta testers suggest the Rectifier and Mark IIC+ models in particular are a major step up from the legacy HX versions on the original Helix floor.

Proxy Cloning Improvements

The Proxy cloning system -- which lets you capture your own physical amps and create playable models -- has received a meaningful accuracy improvement. Line 6 says the updated algorithm now captures low-end response and power amp sag more faithfully, addressing the two most common criticisms from users since launch.

The cloning process itself is also faster. What previously took around four minutes per capture now completes in roughly two and a half minutes, thanks to optimizations in the analysis engine.

Redesigned Cab Engine

The cab block has been reworked to make dual-cab setups more intuitive. You can now route two different cab models in parallel with independent mic selection, distance, and low-cut controls directly from the cab block UI. Previously, this required workaround routing with a split path.

The update also adds 16 new factory IR slots featuring captures from a collection of vintage speaker cabinets.

How to Update

Firmware 1.10 is available now through Line 6's HX Edit software (version 3.82 or later required). As always, back up your presets before updating. The update process takes approximately 10 minutes and requires a USB-C connection.

This is the kind of update that shows Line 6 is serious about the Stadium as a platform. Eight new amp models in the first major firmware cycle is an aggressive pace, and the Proxy improvements address real user feedback. If you have been holding off on building Stadium presets, now is a good time to dig in.
