Mods
A 1960s Kay hollowbody with low-output pickups. The hollow body adds natural resonance and a boomy low end. Jack White intentionally uses cheap, imperfect guitars for their character and unpredictability.

The Seven Nation Army riff is NOT played on a bass. It is a guitar run through the Whammy pedal set one octave down. Jack White switches between the octave-down riff and normal guitar throughout the song. The lo-fi, garage-rock aesthetic is intentional — imperfections are features, not bugs.
