Shinedown's breakout radio anthem from 2008's The Sound of Madness. Zach Myers built it on a PRS Santana that he had converted into a semi-hollow -- the guitar he still brings out specifically for this song -- run into his longtime Diezel Herbert. The verses are chiming, clean arpeggios; the choruses and the soaring melodic lead push the amp into a smooth, vocal singing sustain. A polished, big-radio production with plate ambience holding it all together.
