The guitarist who followed Randy Rhoads into Ozzy Osbourne's band and refused to imitate him. Lee cut Bark at the Moon (1983) and The Ultimate Sin (1986) on a blue-burst Charvel San Dimas through a Jose Arredondo-modified Marshall, trading Rhoads' classical precision for a looser, bluesier phrasing built on wide bends, hybrid picking and unusual chord voicings. He later formed Badlands with Ray Gillen and, from 2013, Red Dragon Cartel.
