No. 1612005·hard-rock·4 blocks

Dimension

Wolfmother's heavy, psych-tinged riff from their 2005 self-titled debut, cut with producer Dave Sardy at Sound City and Sunset Sound. Andrew Stockdale's tone is pure '70s revival: his '73 Gibson SG slammed into a cranked ~50-watt Marshall Plexi, with a green-Russian Big Muff supplying the fuzz wall. Sardy patched amps and pedals per-section from a huge studio pool, so the rig is album-documented rather than track-isolated. Standard E.
